When I did my undergraduate degree in Medical Biochemistry, I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a year in the Griffin Building of the Mayo Clinic at Florida. The Griffin building in dedicated to cancer research and I worked on Glioblastoma Multiforme (a form of brain cancer). I loved this internship so much that I couldn’t imagine doing anything else!
