  I think it would be an extremely difficult process to do– but there is no reason why it can’t be done one day… There’s actually been one brain transplant that occurred– where the brain of one dog was transplanted into the neck of another dog and though the dog didn’t survive long after the transplant, the transplanted brain was functional!
  
  It is believed that if you transplanted a brain in to another body– it would retain all the thoughts/feelings/memories of the person that brain was transplanted out of. So yes, it would be like living in a new body! I think the new Ryan Reynolds movie Self/Less deals a bit in this…
