  No, I haven’t really had any real bad experiences with colds except I seem to catch them quite a lot! I decided to go in to researching the cold because absolutely everyone will catch them so it’s an area of research that could effect everyone’s lives. It was only when I started my PhD did I realise asthmatic people have worse colds! And it was only when I signed up to be a lung cell donor did I find out that I am very mildly asthmatic– so now me catching them so regularly makes more sense!
