      As far as we know, no.

      However we do have some clues as to diseases that may have caused people to have believed Werewolves exist and are probably the origin of the tales. Porphyria is caused by a build-up of porphyrins which can lead to psychosis, sensitivity to sunlight and also very reddish teeth and gums. Hypertrichosis (which is nicknamed Werewolf Syndrome) is caused by a genetic mutation and leads to excessive hair growth. Also some of the behaviours that Werewolves are said to have are similar to rabies sufferers.
