  The work I’m doing at the moment is actually more towards understanding how the cold effects our lung cells and whether its’ different in healthy and asthmatic people. The idea is that hopefully I will be able to find a difference and maybe help come up with a way to treat asthmatic people so their colds are no longer as severe and instead are more like the colds healthy people get. However I may come across a cold treatment in my research– but I’m not really focussing on the virus itself so it’s unlikely I’ll prevent the cold completely.
