• Question: how come some of us are left handed and others right handed

      Hi Amy,

      scientists have found a specific gene in our DNA that determines if we are right or left-handed before we are born. For example, let’s say that the father is left-handed and the mother is right-handed. Then if these parents have 6 children, one of them will probably be left-handed. Now, if both parents are left-handed, then it is more likely to have a left-handed child (let’s say if they have 4 children, one of them will probably be left-handed).
