      Hi Brenda,

      It is true that when we overuse antibiotics, bacteria become resistant to them. The same goes with the use of antiviral medications (medicines that kill viruses), they cause the development of drug-resistant microbes. So, in a way it is challenging to treat bacterial and especially viral infections, but it is not impossible. I don’t think that scientists will ever run out of new efficient ways to treat diseases.
