I am not an expert on this, but I think Albert Einstein’s theories support that time traveling would be possible through a worm hole. A worm hole is theoretically a bridge through space-time that could create shortcuts for long journeys across the universe. We haven’t found yet a worm hole, but scientists keep looking for it. 🙂
Another Einstein’s theory that recently was proved to be true is about time dilation. Time dilation basically refers to the idea that time passes more slowly for a moving clock than it does for a not-moving clock. The force of gravity also affects the difference in elapsed time. The greater the gravity and the greater the velocity, the greater the difference in time. Black holes, (like the one depicted in the movie Interstellar) would produce a massive amount of time dilation, because the gravity there is huge.
So, we probably can’t travel back in time, but it might be possible that in the future we will be able to travel in the future.
