A micro device can be anything that you make in a fabrication lab and has similar or smaller size than the width of a single hair. Micro devices can be electronic circuits on a tiny plate (“chip”) that can be implanted in our body, tiny scaffolds for cells to grow on top in the lab, very narrow and small channels which we use to pass small amounts of liquids inside and create tiny droplets (“microfluidics”) and many other things.
