Some people has gender reassignment surgery because that person has a condition called gender identity disorder – this means that they have been born in the wrong body – for example a boy being born in a girls body.

This reassignment surgery is provided free on the NHS after alot of consolidation from the patient in question. It is very important to respect those with gender identity disorder and to remove transphobia from society throughtout the world.
