• Question: Why do we have hair?

      The early humans used to be a lot more hairy than we are today. Most of their body was covered by hair. Hair protected humans from the sun, kept them warm and also protected them from cuts and injuries. Humans gradually lost their hair, because they started hunting in warmer areas and later wearing clothes.
